Pet care experience
Our names are Megan and Jake and we are pet owners available to take care of cats! We have both had dogs and cats our whole lives, and we are passionate about animal care. We also occasionally foster for multiple shelters/humane societies, although we do not keep fosters and Rover pets at the same time. We are both experienced in providing medications to cats and dogs. We have 1 small dog (8 lbs), 1 large dog (55 lbs), and 2 cats. Our dogs are friendly towards cats, and our cats are used to having new animals around. There are no children in our household and we are non-smoking. We can provide lots of love and play time for your pet, or if your pet prefers, we can give them their space. We can also separate the animals if your pet prefers to be alone. We look forward to spending time with your pet!

When going out of town your always nervous about who’s going to care for your fur baby. I’m so so happy we found Megan and Jacob. They responded quickly when I sent in my request. They allowed me to come see their place and do a quick meet and greet prior to boarding. They were super flexible, nice and just overall great people. They treated my fur baby as their own. I received daily photos while I was away so it made me feel at ease. Our dog came back more behaved then when we left him. We’re so grateful for them. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you again Megan and Jacob.
Megan and Jacob are true animal lovers and took the best care of my sweet senior kitty, MoeMoe. This was MoeMoes first time staying at someone’s home. I received daily photos of his adventures and could tell he was comfortable and was being very well cared for. I will definitely bring my fur babes back for my next trip away. ?
Meg and Jake are wonderful, responsible, and caring. They have had years of experience providing care for dogs as they themselves have been owners. They have experience fostering pets as well! I would highly recommend them as they are passionate dog lovers and will provide the utmost care, affection, and attention as if they were their own.

We place cats in their own bedroom at first, and give them a few days to become familiar with their space and with us. We'll sit in the room frequently with the cat and play with toys and try to make them feel more comfortable. Once the cat is ready, we'll try letting them wander out of the room if they want to. We always supervise their behavior with our pets to make sure everyone gets along.

A typical day
We'll use the cat's toys to play with them, spend time petting them to bond with the cat and get to know them. Once they have the freedom to wander around the house, we'll let them get to know our pets, run around the house, and jump on the cat tree and other furniture.
