I have volunteered with all kinds of shelter dogs for 11+ years and have a lot of poop-scooping experience. I have experience working in veterinary offices trimming nails, cleaning ears, and identifying common parasites. I also have a bachelor's in Psychology and have studied mammalian social behavior extensively. I spend free time socializing shelter dogs: giving them baths, distributing treats, and telling them they are good dogs. I have a rescued American Staffordshire terrier who is spoiled rotten with regular runs in the park, visits to the lake, and romps at the dog park with her friends. She is in training to be a therapy dog. I am available mid-morning to late afternoon most days and enjoy meeting new dogs and getting to know them individually.
