I have known Megan for many years and she has proven to be an excellent friend and volunteer at our local animal shelter. Having always grown up with pets in her home, she is a natural with dogs, cats, and small animals like rabbits and ferrets. As a fellow dog volunteer, I've witnessed first-hand how capable, compassionate, and aware Megan is with the other dogs at the animal shelter. She cleans their cages, keeps tabs on their water and snack consumption, tracks their daily health charts, and consistently utilizes the positive reinforcement training techniques taught at the shelter. She's always game for a walk, play-time, or just casual interaction (snuggles, belly rubs, etc.) with the dogs. She knows that every effort to improve the dogs' time at the shelter will not only make them comfortable, relaxed, and happy, but will subsequently increase their chances of getting adopted by the right family, which is the ultimate goal. I cannot recommend Megan enough for dog walking, dog sitting, or anything else in the realm of dog care. She's experienced, reliable, and dedicated to improving the welfare of animals, and it shows in her volunteer work and in the behavior of her own past pets. Her dogs have always been well-behaved and a joy to be around, and they adore her to boot!

Megan is so great! I've used her for house sitting/pet sitting on multiple occasions. She updates me constantly with texts and pictures playing and loving on Bear. Bear loves her so much he pee's a little every time she comes over to see him! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur baby. Megan treats him as her own and she's extremely professional, communicates well, truth worthy and responsible. I totally recommend her!
