Hello, my name is Megan and I am 23 years old. I lived in New Jersey previously and when I was 17 I started my own dog sitting/walking/and boarding business until I moved out here to Los Angeles in 2020. The pictures of dogs included on my Rover page are dogs I have taken care. I had over 80 clients on my own and hired another individual to work with me when I lived in New Jersey. I’d love to continue working with dogs out here in Los Angeles. I’m an animal lover who believes that although this may be a job, it’s more of a hobby for me to be able to play, walk, and spend time with dogs. My first time I boarded a dog was when I was 8 years old, the puppy cried all night and I had to sleep on the floor next to his crate every night for a week to keep him calm. I always want to make dogs as happy as possible. A few years ago I lost my Golden Retriever. When she passed, I also volunteered for the Golden Retriever Rescue Inc and fostered Goldens. And from then I started a dog sitting business in NJ. I have a dog named Lucy and I rescued her from the meat trade. She flew from South Korea to Los Angeles and I’ve had her for the past 3 years.
