Pet care experience
I think I was 8 years old when I started taking care of a guinea pig and a bird. Soon thereafter I was taking care of a cat, dogs, turkeys and even a rooster that really took a chunk out of my leg when I was 12. My dream as a child and even in high school was to be a vet, but dreams don’t always come true. I have filled my free time with volunteering at TAPs animal shelter in Pekin, IL while working as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Although my career has not been with animals I have many years of knowledge and experience with multiple different dog breeds of all sizes. I have approximately 3 years of senior care experience including administering medications orally and manual joint stretching to help with arthritis pain. I hope you’ll consider me for the very important job of watching your babes.

My 6 year old lab and 6 month old lab enjoy lounging, they are on a strict feeding routine and training happens everyday. My pups play in the yard, swim, play fetch and just be happy dogs. They get a moderate amounts of exercise. While taking care of clients pets I will be attentive to the needs and behaviors of their dog/dogs.

Availability
Pet care fits into my daily routine as I’m currently in private lesson training with my own puppy. We visit the local dog park frequently and I soon plan to become a certified dog trainer myself.
