Pet care experience
I'm a dog lover to the extreme! I used to own two English Bulldogs and cared for them throughout their entire lives as my family. I also grew up with a dog in our family home, and we always considered her part of the family too. I love to go for runs and be outside. I also surf, love the ocean, and find joy in meeting new people and their pets. In my previous career experience, I worked in marketing at Petco, which is a very pet friendly environment, and I truly believe that dogs (and all animals) make us happier people! I currently teach yoga and fitness classes throughout North County San Diego, and I enjoy being active in the yoga and surf community here.

My husband works nights and we needed someone to come spend time with our pets while I was out of town. Megan was great, she came in the evenings to play with our dog and take her for walks. We are so appreciative that she was willing to come in the evening, after dinner, to support our unique need. Will certainly work with Megan again!

Megan is an amazing dog sitter AND house sitter. We had her stay at our house overnight for 7 nights this past June when we went on vacation. Not only did she stay in contact with us regarding our sweet dog, she also sent pictures and videos. Our dog was happy and healthy when we came back home, AND our house was clean and we had fresh cookies waiting for us. Megan is very accommodating, responsible, kind and trustworthy. We will definitely use her again, and recommend her to anyone looking for a house/dog sitter.
If Marley had thumbs she'd hold a pen and probably write her own glowing testimonial, but since she is a 10 pound malti mix, I'll translate for her. If Marley's delight when Megan comes to the house is any indication of their mutual affection, then I'd say you'd be lucky to find a dog sitter as capable as Megan. I have trusted Megan with my home and most importantly with my most valuable possession, only to return after vacations totally relaxed. Having been a dog owner herself, Megan taking care of another's pet is more of a "love" than a job. Highly recommended.

I prefer fun playful medium to large dogs, but also love all size breeds. I am very cautious with some breeds that tend to be aggressive, and I prefer labs, retrievers, English or French bulldogs, as this is what I had as pets.
A typical day
I love to go for walks, runs, and play outside. I also play tug of war or fetch with toys and balls. I'm always up for a cuddle or snuggle while we watch a movie or tv, and they will get my full attention when I'm home. I'm very cautious on walks and at home and make sure we are secure and no one comes to the house.
