The most important factor to me before taking responsibility of a pet is to know their history. Allergies, medications, temperament and past incidents. It is important to inform me of what not only makes your dog happy, but also, what makes them nervous or scared in any way. The more info the better! I require a meet and greet before the dog sitting period begins. No breed preferences ???

I enjoy spending quality time with my animals outdoors in a safe environment. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Mini Dachshund so both require different types of exercise methods. Depending on the breed/health/size of the dog I am watching, determines the activities we do for exercise. I love jogging the Hope Ranch trails or the Modoc Preserve with my big guy Elvis and any dog I’m watching that enjoys that type of active will come along. I like taking the big dogs that need a good romping around to the school field near me and letting them get their energy out. Small dogs who prefer to stay separate from the bigs (like my Chloe) get their own walks + play sessions where they don’t have to worry about getting in the way of the bigs. I am blessed to have a fenced front + back yard. No pets are left in either yard unattended. If I do run out for an errand, they will all be inside with Elvis and Chloe. If your dog prefers a specific activity, like fetching the ball, just let me know + I will make that happen! Exercise (and fun play time!) is key to a healthy life style, happy pets, and a good nights sleep!
