My apartment is small, but with lots of lounging spaces for older, lazier dogs. That said, I am an obsessive walker and am known to walk up to ten miles a day, and I would love a furry companion! Most of my experience has been with large dogs (I love German Shepherds, Huskies, and Great Danes), but I've also cared for small dogs for friends while they're away. I bartend on weekends, and have a part-time job a few minutes walking from my place three days a week from 12-5. I freelance as a writer and editor in the meantime - so I am available for 1-2 overnight stays at my place, and then if arranged far enough in advance, I am willing to housesit for a few days during the week. My schedule will calm down around the holidays, and I would love to care for a dog or two while you're away! yrs mj
