Time with a dog is never wasted
Pet care experience
I have experience as a veterinary technician and volunteer experience as an animal care taker at shelters. I work in an animal care industry as a Quality Manager where we manufacture grooming aids and nutritional supplements for animals. I grew up on a farm and can also take care of farm animals, extra points of there are goats (my favorite!).
Reviews
Megan was so attentive and patient. Our dog is very shy and fearful of new people. Megan was patient and took her time getting to know her. She kept us updated throughout the stay for our peace of mind too. We hope to work with Megan again in the future!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large home that is conducive to the needs of multiple animal types including a fenced in yard for free roam exercise. I have one dog on a strict medication regimen, and we make special considerations to be sure his needs are met. I follow instructions for client home care to make the animal most comfortable.

Information Megan G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any special needs your baby has for medications or just quirks in general (like one of mine doesn’t like hats, so no hats in our house!). In addition, don’t forget the fun stuff! What is their favorite toy? Game? Best spot to pet? In general, how can I make the the time away from you as easy and seamless as possible.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so activities depend! Quality time with an energetic puppy may look like fetch, floor play, tug of war, or other active games, whereas elderly dogs may prefer a nice cuddle and belly rubs. I do not take animals to dog parks simply due to unknown other animals, but would certainly take them on walks around the neighborhood if they enjoy it, or on nature trails of the owner approves. On a hot summer day, we like to break out the kiddie pool and water hose for a splashing good time!

Availability
Weekdays I work from 8-5 and only about 8 minutes from home, so I am able to come home at lunch for potty breaks. I have a special needs elderly dog so I do come home often. Nights and weekends are fetch filled and cuddle-central! My day revolves around their schedule and needs, especially with the special needs baby.
