Pet care experience
I love all dogs, but I have a special place in my heart for large dogs. I have been freelance dog sitting for 3 years. I have watched St. Bernards, Aussies, Coon Hounds, Italian Mastiffs,and Pitbulls. If your dog has any special needs or is in the middle of training I am more than capable of following your instructions. I want to treat your dog just like you do so feel free to leave specific care instructions and their daily routine. If you have an appointment at the vet or doggie salon while you are away or at work, there is no need to cancel. I don't mind taking your fur baby, just give me the appointment info and any questions, concerns, or observations you want discussed at the appointment.

Megan did great with my cat and dog. I got regular photos and updates. Our furbabies seemed very happy and well cared for when we got home.
Megan was great! She communicated well with us, was conscientious of our pets' diets, and was very friendly. Most importantly, our pets were well cared for :)
Megan has pet sit for me three times now and I have had a great experience with her each time. She took care of my pet and sent me pictures keeping me updated about him. My dog recently had back surgery so needed to be in his crate for pretty much the whole day. But, he tends to get anxious when we leave the house and will scratch at the door when left alone. He does great when Megan is with him and will sleep and play happily with her. She gave him his medication on time and pet him when he got restless. I am happy with her services and would definitely recommend her for other occasions.
Megan did “in home” dog sitting for me during a trip to DC. She sent pictures, updated me, was quick to respond and communicate and I felt totally at ease knowing she was there with the pups while I couldn’t be. I’d gladly have her dog sit again.

I would like to know what your dog is allowed/not allowed to do at your home and how they are trained(do you certain hand gestures, do you use "down" or "off", etc.) I would also like to know how they like to play(tug of war, wrestling, fetch) and if they are leash trained. Also if out for a walk how will your dog respond to other dogs or bunnies.
A typical day
We can go to their favorite dog park and/or walks in the park or around the neighborhood. We can play with their favorite toys or snuggle up and get belly rubs.
