Aside from my time away at college (many years ago!) I have always had a dog in our family home. I rescued my first cat around 2005 and she is still with me (she is now with my husband and our two boys), while we do not have a dog in our home at the moment. I have handled medications for different dogs throughout the year. Our English Bulldog was my best friend (yes, he was in our wedding) and being with him while he passed was a heartbreaking day. But! I know there are so many other pets to have fun with! I absolutely love walking dogs around neighborhoods or parks (if allowed). Of course I'm not opposed to watching Netflix while a dog snuggles either! I am home most of the time, with my sons. They are both respectful of both cats and dogs. Of course I watch all interactions closely.
