Hi! My name is Megan and I am an avid pet lover. I have been working for Rover since September 2021. Animals have been a vital, therapeutic part of my life since childhood. I have two cats and one dog of my own. The first job I had with animals was at an animal hospital my senior year of high school. I helped out after school assisting the vets with data entry, feeding the animals, doing laundry and on one occasion I administered a vaccine to one of the cats. Since then I have worked at SFSPCA where I was part of the call center team. I scheduled appointments, coordinated with vets and increased my knowledge of pet health and wellness. I currently work at a doggy daycare in San Francisco that also offers boarding and walking services. I get the opportunity to expand my awareness of dog behavior and training. Everyday I am responsible for the pickup and drop off of daycare dogs. In addition, I help to maintain the daycare and supervise a group of up to thirty dogs with the help of other coworkers. I have spent time volunteering with horses and dogs. When I am not working I enjoy hiking, volunteering, maintaining a spiritual practice and quality time with friends.
