Hello fellow dog and cat lovers! My name is Megan and I'm an outdoorsy adventure seeker, nature lover and rabbit owner. As a pet parent who misses being around the cats and dogs of my childhood, I’m looking for more opportunities to help our fellow pet owners while playing and hanging out with furry friends. I grew up with cats and dogs — as well as guinea pigs, lizards and fish — of all shapes and sizes. From my grannie's King Charles spaniel to my father's Great Pyrenees, I particularly miss roving around with dogs who love being outside. My go-to spots in DC include Meridian Hill and Rock Creek Park, as well as the S Street (NW) doggie park. As the eldest of four who has been babysitting little humans longer than pets, I'm responsible and reliable and would be a great friend and companion to your dog or cat while you’re away. I've participated in training courses, walked on leashes/harnesses of all types, I’m not afraid of picking up droppings (my last dog was closer to a mini pony weighing 125 pounds), and I’m flexible to adapt to whatever routines you and your pet(s) have.
