Pet care experience
I am very good with dogs I was raised with dogs (Golden Retrievers, and German Shepard's). I have watched many dogs including Pomeranian's, Pitbulls, Mastiffs, Rottweilers and many others. I am willing to come to your home or bring your dog into mine. I am pretty flexible when it comes to the hours and kinds of dogs. I really enjoy helping to take care of animals. I live in a house with a very big yard. We had a Weimeriner for 15 years but unfortunately had to put him down in June of 2020. We just adopted a 2 year old Rottweiler from the SPCA in May 2022. He is amazing and great woth our 2 year old and infant. I am willing to walk, do drop in visits, play,and give medications. I have experience with giving shots and pills to dogs. We boarded our dog for one night and it was great. Megan is a terrific host and she has a lovely weimaraner who is very friendly and a nice companion for our boy. Lots of quiet and open space for dogs to run and hang out.
So happy Megan was able to watch Gigi on short notice w/o a meet and greet. Really helped me out in my travels. She has a very sweet weimaraner as well.
Shaggy had an excellent stay with with Megan. I met with Megan prior to dropping Shaggy off and we both felt comfortable as soon as we walked into Megan's home. While Shaggy stayed with Megan, I never had to worry one minute about him. I knew he was being taken good care of. Megan sent me a picture of Shaggy to let me know he was doing fine. She is a true animal lover! I would highly recommend Megan as a dog sitter and if I ever need a dog sitter again, I will definitely be asking for Megan!
