My family has had dogs since before I was born, so I'm very used to taking care of them and watching over them. Growing up, we had a golden retriever that had a lot of health issues, so I'm used to giving pills and medicine treats to them. Our current dog, a two year old yellow lab, is very active and requires several hours at the park each day, which I do happily. I frequently dog/house sit for a family friend with four fully grown yellow labs for several days at a time, and I do it all because I love the dogs and spending time with them. Other types of dogs that I've watched over include rottweilers, bulldogs, and german sheperds. I am very familiar with professional training techniques as I worked closely with a personal trainer to help train our current lab. I'd happily play with the dogs (and cats) whenever they need, and I make sure that they are able to go outside for bathroom breaks as often as possible. I love all dogs and cats as if they were my own and make sure to treat them like family.
