I have helped raise and train my dog who is currently 7 years old. She is an Icelandic sheepdog who has a very stubborn and energetic personality. I have volunteered in an animal shelter taking care of dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. This included anything from daily walks to laundry to cleaning kennels. I have helped dog sit and dog walk many dogs in my neighborhood and always been asked back because of the good outcome. I have also worked at Unleashed by Petco and Petco for approximately 2 years. This experience has taught me a lot about dog nutrition and welfare. I have worked closely with experts and dog trainers to learn as much as I possibly can about anything one would need to know to own a dog or cat. Throughout these experiences, I have become very knowledgable about dogs. I know the proper ways to walk a dog as well as keep them on their best behavior around other people and other dogs. I know of many warning signs of health issues as well as the best way to handle any sort of issues that may arise. I find that my customers at Petco and in dog walking are coming back to me for advice on how to handle certain situations. I love new challenges and will always be open to new ideas.
