A LITTLE ABOUT ME: - Back on Rover accepting new bookings!!! - I live in Coconut Grove, Miami and also spend lots of time in Naples FL at my parents so am sometimes open to bookings there too. - I’m in my early 30’s with both B.A. and M.S degrees, so you know I’m very responsible and hard working! - Sorry, but I do not speak Spanish. Check out my photos to see me and my dog Butters and some of our Rover moments with clients/friends! EXPERIENCE: - Been on Rover since 2014 but I have plenty of years taking care of and sitting for dogs and other animals before then. - Experienced with dogs & cats of all sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments. (Also other animals like fish, reptiles, bunnies, hamsters, and more!) - I have a 8 yr old 6lb terrier mix named Butters who will almost always be accompanying me. He loves other dogs and is well-behaved and socialized and doesn’t shed. - *** I have many additional clients and repeat clients who aren’t on Rover, so I have even more positive reviews and bookings than shown on my profile! *** - The Rover rates I have set are approximate estimates because Rover has a system for calculating booking totals and automatically takes out 20% commission cut of what I charge and what I actually get paid... Happy to discuss and confirm rates and am willing to be flexible!

Megan is truly exceptional! She took care of our 11-year-old furbaby for several days at our apartment. Accompanied by her adorable senior dog, Butters, she quickly won over our picky puppy from their first meeting. Throughout the stay, Megan meticulously followed my dog’s routine, sending constant updates that significantly eased my anxiety while I was away. Her remote work setup allowed her to provide constant companionship to my dog, something I genuinely appreciated. Her genuine passion for dogs was evident in the dedicated attention she gave to my Guapo, mirroring the care she shows Butters. Upon our return, we found a happy, relaxed dog and a perfectly maintained apartment. For any pet owner seeking loving, safe, and responsible care for their furry babies, Megan is an absolute gem. Although my trip got cancelled Megan was watching Bella for a couple hours. My shy dog seemed to do really well with her and Butters. She kept us updated with pictures which was really nice. Would definitely use again. Thanks Megan!!!
While Megan was excellent with our 3-month-old pup Coco, perhaps more important is how great she is with people. From the moment we met Megan, she no longer felt like a stranger and we felt entirely comfortable having her in our home while we were away for the day. She is responsible, kind, incredibly communicative, and immediately put us at ease. I highly recommend Megan, though I’d rather you not book her so that she will have more availability to spend time with my pup Coco!!!
We were thrilled having Megan’s as Milo’s sitter. She was incredibly communicative while we were on our trip. Milo received tons of attention and play dates. He also enjoyed his time with Megan’s sweet dog, Butters. I will 100% be booking Megan for all of our future dog sitting needs. I know she made Milo feel loved and special while we were gone. He was all smiles in his photos and in a great mood when we picked him up. Thank you thank you thank you Megan. Nothing beats peace of mind when you know your fur baby is in good company.

MY PLACE: I live in a 2br/2ba apartment by myself (plus little Butters), and there’s tons of room for your fur baby or two here! Depending on size, type, etc, I usually only host 1-2 animals at a time at most. This ensures I can provide enough space and 1-on-1 attention for your pets (instead of people who overbook a bunch of clients and treat it more like a business.) I welcome your fur babies into my home as part of mine and as Butters’ special guests! No fenced in yard here, but we go for strolls around the low-traffic nearby blocks. I also have a car and love to visit nearby dog parks or walk around the grove for dog-friendly public spots and more just for fun, but I’ll always check with you first. YOUR PLACE: I have a car and can easily drop by within distance or stay at your place for days. I’ll almost always have Butters with me but if that’s a problem, just let me know. (Sometimes he spends time at my parents.) Again, I don’t treat this as a formal income/business or my full-time job, so if I’m staying at yours, I’ll consider it my home base so that I can be with your fur babies as much as possible — unlike some sitters who simply drop by now and then, going house to house to house. (I would only do that if you hired me just for walks or check-ins.)

WHAT I WILL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG: > Energy Level – are they okay being alone a couple hours while I run errands? Will also need to get work done during the day so can’t play the entire time :). Also, I don't have a designated yard for the dogs to run free and let out energy. Smaller size shared apartment. > Medical or Dietary Restrictions – I give lots of snacks and treats, so please let me know if there are any concerns. > Behaviors – general personality traits and interactions with humans and other dogs. > Barking – Obviously barking here and there is fine, but I live in an apartment building, so I want to be courteous of my neighbors. > Accidents/Shedding – it’s no problem if they have the occasional accident, but please just let me know so I can be prepared. Same with shedding. > Chewing – Butters doesn't have issues with jumping up and/or chewing on my items so I don't usually worry about it, but when I have doggy guests over, I like to puppy proof the place so please let me know. > Routines - sleeping, crates, eating, etc. I let the dogs have free range of my place but if you want me to impose rules or habits, just say the word! There's space to bring crates, bedding, or play pens you might have. I also have a door gate so that I can blockade the kitchen area if necessary.
A typical day
I live in Coconut Grove with lots of places to walk around and enjoy the outdoors. There are also plenty of parks around, but I’ll always check with you first. I’ll be working from home all day so we can do morning and afternoon and evening walks, playtime, chill on the patio or backyard, whatever!

MY DAILY ROUTINE: I work 100% REMOTE full-time M-F as a digital director — so I can work from home (or anywhere with wifi), which means I have lots of flexibility to tend to your fur babies all day, either at my place or yours! If I need to run out, I’ll always let you know and make sure your dog can be alone for a few hours, and I make my personal schedule around making sure your pup isn’t left alone for too long.
