I've been living with and caring for dogs since I was twelve years old. I'm quite petite but I'm very experienced and confident with large dogs (one of my childhood companions was a 120-pound mastiff mix). I've been fortunate enough to spend time with a variety of dogs at all stages of their lives, from three months to fourteen years. During that time, I've housebroken, crate-trained, and taught simple commands (both verbal and signed). I owe most of my knowledge to my mom, who taught me the value of patience and persistence when caring for animals. Right now I live with a 55-pound rescue mutt named Marty (as in McFly). I currently work full-time, and although I do have a somewhat flexible schedule, I am best suited to care for dogs who do not require constant supervision.
