Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since I was young, and have always loved their companionship. I currently have a seven year old lab mix; he is my baby and is spoiled rotten! I also have a spoiled seven year old cat as well. I would love another dog but don't have the room right now. Instead, I enjoy pet sitting. I have been pet sitting for friends and family for 15 years. Having my own pets right now limits my in-house overnight stays, but I would still love to help out with other pets by waking them or drop in visits. I know how I feel leaving Riley home while I'm working long hours, and would love to help other pet owners. I am a very active person, and love having company on my walks or runs. I walk my own dog daily, and I know how important it is for other dogs to get their exercise. I am comfortable with young and old pets, and small or large dogs. I am not intimidated by large dogs and am willing to work with any breed, as long as they are friendly :)

Megan was wonderful with our two cats. It was such a relief to see that our cat who is especially terrified of strangers was even curious enough to come out from his hiding spot when she was there. The updates were wonderful. We already have her booked for our next trip!!

I am always careful to make sure that the dog is leashed at all times when going outside or if using a fenced yard is supervised the entire time. With cats I am careful to make sure they don’t sneak I out after me.

I would like to know their temperament with people, any medical issues, aggression issues, and temperament with other dogs (in case we come across any during our walks or bathroom breaks). I like to know their routine as well so I can stick to it as much as possible.
A typical day
I am happy to give them lots of cuddles, pets, and playtime with toys as well as outside playing! Every pet is different and requires different things.

Availability
I work full time, from 7:30am- 6pm Mon-Thurs (generally), so I am only available before or after work during the week, or any time Fridays and most weekends.
