Pet care experience
Hi, My name is Megan and I absolutely love animals. I've had all types of pets from dogs and cats to lizards and even chinchillas. I am still fairly new to rover, however I have about 10 years professional experience, but in reality I have a lifetime of experience with animals. I've had pets in my household all my life so I have plenty experience with animals of all ages. I am very capable of handling potty training, and caring for really active little puppies and kittens as well as caring for older cats & dogs who need to take things slow. I love dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes and personalities. Whatever it is you need from me to care for your pet I am up for the task: Bathing, walking, feeding, cleaning up potty and playtime mistakes, giving them medications if needed and of course playtime and trips to nearby dog parks! Also if there are any other pets in your houshold that need some attention I am willing to take on those tasks as well. If you have any questions about my rates listed feel free to ask. Additionally if you are in need of a pet care service that isn't listed such as trips to the dog park, longer walks/visits, and care for additional pets other then cats and dogs feel free to ask and I will gladly let you know if I can do it and will give you my rates. Megan was absolutely amazing taking care of my St. Bernard for a few days while my partner and I went on vacation. I was nervous leaving my dog with someone new but Megan made sure both the dog and I felt comfortable every step of the way, including a meet & greet at her apartment. She followed my notes to a T and sent me pictures everyday! My dog sometimes won’t eat as a form of separation anxiety but to my surprise, Megan got her to eat through various methods which made me so happy! Megan is now a part of our family and I will definitely have her watch my dog again in the future! 10 out of 5 stars!
Megan did a fantastic job with Bentley. This was my first time leaving him in the care of someone and she made me feel very comfortable that he was in good hands. He took to Megan right away which has never happened before so must be something about her that he trusted; he was totally comfortable with her which made me comfortable as well. The space in her home designated for the day care visit was VERY clean and really nice. I was impressed. She kept us posted on his progress and overall was really great. Will definitely be using Megan again!

Before sitting a dog it is always important to know how the dog is around new people and if there is a specific way to make the dog comfortable. Also I would like the know the dogs name, age, breed, and personality (The basics) I MUST have any information regarding the dogs health such as allergies and Illnesses as well as knowing if your dog is up to date on all their vaccines before walks. (Vet contact info is required) Also I would like to know if the dog is comfortable around other dogs just in case I am walking multiple dogs at the same time A photo of the dog would be great, but not necessary. Also I like to know in advance if there are any places the dog is not allowed in the household for drop in visits.
A typical day
With me as your dog walker you can expect your dog will go on a walk for your desired walk time. If you live near a big park I am very happy to walk them there or through a favorite walking route you have for your dog. As a drop in vist there are many activities that can be done depending on the length of time I am needed for the visit: feeding, bathing, clean up, changing wee wee pads, going to the dog park. Playing at home. Whatever you need for your pet I can do for you. *Bathing and trips to the dog park come at an additional rate please feel free to contact me for more info.

Availability
I am available for pet care most weekends morning-night. I usually am out a couple of hours during the week, but still available to care for your pets. I usually have full availability during most major holidays. If my calendar doesnt show availability just reach out and ask.
