I would love to know as much as possible about your dog; I cannot accept dogs who have fleas or ticks into my home. Please tell me about his/her likes and dislikes; it is pertinent that they get along with all dogs big & small; are they friendly to men, women, cats; walk well on a leash; dog park friendly; try to run away; do they chase cats on walks; have a fear of thunderstorms, loud noises, sudden moves etc. This will make your pets stay much more comfortable if I know all of your pets quirks. If they have bitten and the reason why. This isn't a necessary game changer if I am able to assess the reason behind the bite. Honesty is the best policy I've fostered and watched all breeds of dogs and not all were angels but knowing that made all the difference

My dog sitting style is very relaxed. I like to make your dog feel at home and give him time to settle in. I never try to insist they socialize if they would prefer to go sleep on their bed. Most if not all dogs I've watched have settled right in after they are free to explore and get use to the new environment. I try to stick as close to their normal routine such as feeding and walk schedules.
