My name is Megan, but everyone calls me V. I'm a pharmacy tech student living in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. Before moving to the city, I lived with two large dogs: a Goldendoodle named Sammy and a Saint Bernard named Joy. I trained both of them, took them to lessons, and walked them. Because I grew up with them, I have first-hand experience caring for and handling large and giant-breed dogs. Far from using force, I've discovered that a firm and patient approach is more likely to encourage good behavior. I also understand that dogs that are well-exercised, loved, and played with are happier dogs. When I visit my mom, I'm always thrilled to play with and walk her dogs. She now has a flat coated retriever and a pit-bull/Labrador mix. They're both energetic, so I can handle an excitable dog! Giant breeds and pits don't frighten me, I love working with them! I think these breeds are misunderstood, they're naturally so sweet and kind. As well as being a lover of dogs and cats, I have experience caring for exotic pets as well. I have cared for parrots (particularly cockatoos and macaws), snakes, and lizards. I have been a lover of animals for my entire life.
