First and foremost, I can tell you that you get what you pay for! All my clients have reiterated to me that exact sentiment and they all agree, I’m worth every penny-to them and their pup(s). I am a preferred caretaker and trainer for The Hound Rescue here is Austin, TX, when they get dogs in need of rehabilitation therapies. I’ve taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, and rescued dogs from all walks of life. In my neighborhood I’m known as ‘Megan the Mutt Mom’, ‘the dog lady’, and ‘the dog whisperer’; if ever anyone comes across a stray, they know exactly who to call to help re-home and or train that little wiggle butt. I was the GM of (and helped open) Dogtopia of North Austin, at the Lakeline Mall, so if they do it there, I do it here, just a little better 😉! I have since moved on to other endeavors and now work from home which enables me to give your dogo all the time and attention and training they could possibly need. My years of professional and personal experience with daily care, giving medications (creatively if necessary), grooming, and training, make me the perfect person to watch after your pooch! Every pooch that comes to me for an overnight, goes home with a Mutt Mani included in the cost-no matter how finicky or impossible you think your dog might be with nail trims...I can handle them. My own dogs are both rescues (they all have been, all my life, but I’m down from 4, to 2, as the others crossed the rainbow bridge); Diesel, I found as a puppy at a gas station & Lucas is a foster fail who came to me after being rescued from a kill shelter in Houston and was labeled un-adoptable because of his separation anxiety. I worked with him for months on the separation anxiety. Eventually he was ‘healed’ and we became inseparable; all he needed was someone willing to make him feel loved, secure, cared for, and to give him the proper training, environment, and understanding of his future (whether it was 5 minutes from now or 5 days from now). Fast forward 2 years and he is the best dog anyone could ever ask to have & his separation anxiety is completely nonexistent. I’m a work from home mutt mom so I’m available any time to play with, groom, walk, socialize, and care for your beloved four legged mate. I have flexible pick up and drop off times. Diesel and Lucas would love to have consistent friends! I have a large fenced in 8,000 square foot yard which means plenty of room for plenty of four legged friends, and friendly fluffy friends to keep your dog company. If your dog prefers a more isolated environment and is more of a ‘people dog’, I have a two story home and several areas to keep my pups safely separated.
