Pet care experience
I simply love animals and have cared for them since childhood. I look forward to welcoming and caring for your beloved dog. Our home is in a private, yet neighborhood setting, and is great for walks around the fenced-in, 2 acre property or down to the park at the end of the street. My husband and I have fostered over 20 dogs now and we have been the go-to for our friends when away during the holidays, at work, or out of town. We own a rescued a Retriever mix (Chip) that gets along with everyone and loves showing his friends the ropes. Chip is wonderful with our kids (ages 7and 9) and great with other dogs. If I felt the need to separate the dogs for any reason I would be able to do so appropriately while maintaining the proper love and care for both dogs. My goal is simply to provide a nurturing environment for your dog at our Home Away From Home.

We are so fortunate to have Megan to take care of our dog Siena for day visits and boarding. Megan is kind, caring and treats Siena like she is part of her family. From her initial boarding stay it was clear that Siena was comfortable, relaxed and in very good hands...and this was confirmed by photos and updates throughout her stays. Siena really enjoys her time with Megan's dog Chip, as well as the opportunity to run and play in their large fenced in yard. I have highly recommended Megan to several friends and will, without hesitation, continue to do so.
Megan was great! Very personable and easy to talk to. And that’s in addition to providing great care for Magnum. When he was crying at night, she sat with him until he fell asleep. We def. will be back!
Megan is absolutely incredible with dogs. If she watches your pup, be prepared for him to want to stay with her forever. She is able to connect with animals on such a deep level. Your mind can rest at ease because your dog will be receiving the best care possible.
Megan is a loving and nurturing pet sitter. She is extremely responsible and always has the animals best interest at heart. She has a wonderful energy that animals pick up on and they all flock to her. She is my go to first choice for looking after my pets while I’m away, I highly recommend her!

Our two acres has a fenced and stone wall perimeter which will contain your pup while allowing them to get outdoors for some exercise and fresh air. Although I prefer not to, I can crate your dog if needed or separate the dogs with a gate if ever necessary.

Along with caring for furry friends I am a painter who works from my home studio. Your pup will rarely be left alone. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays.
