Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5. My neighbors and family members have relied on me to care for their household pets. I own two dogs and one cat of my own so I am well versed in walking, feeding, cleaning and bathing pets. Playtime is very important to me and training new skills is something I have become quite great at. I have raised three puppies and most recently adopted a shelter dog. While the two are completely different realms of pet owning, I feel as if this amplifies my experience with behaviors and training techniques of dogs from different backgrounds.

Megan is a true animal lover. She has taken care of my dog Rocky! She treats him like a family member and loves him as of he were her own pup. I trust her with my pups and would tell anyone that she will love and treat your dogs like they are family.
Megan is an extremely reliable, compassionate and hardworking individual. She will be prompt in providing any and all care needs that your furry friends require and love them like her own while she does it. She has a few fur babies of her own, a cat and two dogs, and loves them with all her heart. She has worked, and continues to work patiently, on training her young pups to be great walkers and has even taught them a trick or two. I highly recommend her services.

You can be rest assured that when I take care of your pet that I will always be evaluating their behaviors and moods. When visiting the clients home I would always introduce my self on the pets level and create a loving relationship. If your pet is allowed outside on my visits I will make sure the backyard is secure for their safety, or if there is no fence they will be on a leash with me. I would make sure to always review your instructions before completing my duties and ask questions that pertain to the safety of your pet if needed (i.e. can I give them treats, do they like to be pet by passerby’s on walks).

Is your dog crated when no one is home? Some dogs love to greet at the door and run out in the process. It’s also great to know what drives your dog to listen, treats or specific sounds/toys? Let me know and I can make sure they are receiving the same environment you provide for them.
A typical day
I love to work on simple command skills, promote healthy playing with toys, and if possible LOVE to play fetch with any dog. My pups and I love to go to the local dog park. I would be willing to bring your furry friends to parks or play dates.

Availability
Pet care fits into my schedule at a variety of times throughout the week. I am currently in school to get my Masters in Elementary Education online. I also own 3 pets of my own and my partner is a night shift nurse, so I tend to need to be home during sleeping hours to make sure the doggos are okay. My weekdays I work as a substitute teacher, which allows me to make my own schedule. If you would like pet care services during the week days, it is best to ask a little in advance so I may not schedule a substitute job on the same day you need me to watch over your loved ones! Weekends tend to be a little more relaxed and I am available more times of the day, sometimes available to stay over night if my partner isn’t working that weekend.
