Pet care experience
I have been involved in Animal Rescue since the age of 7. That involved volunteering at events, at the shelter, and planning events. I have been pet sitting for 6 years. When I was growing up we had a “pack” of 5 dogs and 2 cats! Now that I have moved out, my husband and I have furbabies of our own. I have experience administering medication. I have also had experience from day old puppies/kittens, to elderly pets. Caring for animals, particularly cats & dogs, has always been a passion of mine. I’d love to be able to help people take care of their fur babies! Please consider me to care for your furry family member! I am very flexible and would be open to a long term set schedule or even just a one time visit! I prefer to care for your pets at your home, as I live in a small home with my husband and our pets. I also do not typically spend the night in your home as my radius is set an appropriate distance for it not to be necessary.

I prefer to dog-sit in your home. Dog's tend to have less anxiety when in their own home, if you absolutely need someone to board your dog in their home, I may not be the best fit for your fur-baby as I live in a small home with pets of my own.

I like to have vet name and your information regarding that vet left at your home for me to refer to in case of emergency. Sometimes people also like to leave additional emergency contacts and I always appreciate that! I like to be aware of any allergies, triggers, etc your dog may have before sitting.
A typical day
I’m very open to meeting the needs of your pet specifically. Each pet is different and requires different methods of entertainment and/or exercise. I am willing to play, walk, and entertain your pet in the way you would if you were there to do it!

Availability
I am available daily. I am open to one time check-ins or long term set schedules. I am very flexible and would love to work with you to find out what makes the most sense for you and your fur-baby! I always like to do meet and greets before booking just to be sure I am a good fit for your family and situation! I do not typically do “trials” with you in the home as I feel a meet and greet is sufficient.
