Pet care experience
Hello!! I am a full time second grade teacher from Louisiana. Being off for the summer provides me ample time to sit, play, and love on your pups for as long as you need, helping with whatever your needs may be. Leaving your babies at home alone is tough, so I hope you'd find comfort knowing they're being loved while you're away with texts or pictures of our adventures if you'd like. I love long walks and would be sure to give your pup the time they need to explore. I'd be happy to check the mail, water your plants, and help out! Let me know if you have any questions. Megan was SO amazing with our two cats, and I cannot recommend her enough! We were out of town for almost two weeks, and Megan dropped by twice a day to feed, water, scoop litter, and keep them company. I really appreciated all the cute photos and detailed updates she shared (we loved our vacation, but we were definitely missing our kitties!). She did a great job of reading each cat’s energy and individualizing their care accordingly (she made sure our more affectionate/needy cat got daily cuddles, and she made an extra effort to ensure our shy, skittish cat was able to access food easily from her hiding spots). I will definitely reach out to her again for kitty care in the future!

When caring for your babies, I pride myself in keeping a clean, welcoming space. I take care to clean up after myself and any messes I see. Litter is changed and cleaned daily. Additional time will be spent as pets show desire for it. Just because the 30 minute timer goes off doesn’t mean I hop up and leave right away if they are active and wanting attention!

A typical day
I'm completely flexible to take your dogs on walks nearby, around the neighborhood, to the nearby park, etc. I'm also happy to drive your pup down to the river or the doggy park if that's something you'd prefer!

Availability
I am currently teaching half day summer schools, but am available for short morning visits and anything after 12 as needed. Afternoons and evenings are fully free as are weekends.
