Hi there! I'm Megan, your friendly neighborhood dog sitter. With years of experience under my paw, I've seen it all - from playful puppies to wise senior dogs, from cute little Chihuahuas to squishy-faced Bulldogs, and everything in between! I've spent countless hours playing fetch, going for walks, and cuddling up with furry friends of all shapes and sizes. For some background, I grew up with 2 small Yorkie mixes, 1 loving pit bull, and now have a little boston terrier of my own! I have cared for older dogs, post-surgery occasions, broken bones, and dogs with specific care and cleanliness requirements. I adore getting to know the personality and goofiness behind each dog I come to meet. But most importantly, you can trust me with your furry family member. I'm reliable, responsible, and always put the safety and well-being of your dog first. You can rest easy knowing that your dog is in good hands with me. Megan walked our dog Max for 4 days while we were away and did an awesome job! It was last minute and she was prompt, pleasant and definitely went over and beyond caring for Max!! Megan is the best! I had to leave out of town very short notice and Megan was able to take care of my two Mini Schnauzers for me on such short notice. She would send constant updates and the cutest pictures of my bebes. I will definitely utilize her help again in the future. Thank you Megan!

I have a 2 bedroom apartment in a tucked away quite apartment complex off of Barton Skyway. Our place has a fenced patio that looks towards a green space with TONS of squirrel and bird action that my pup personally loves to observe.

Before taking care of your dog, it's important to know their primary commands like their versions of "sit," "stay," "come," and "heel," and I always use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior. While my dog is friendly towards other dogs, I always approach new dogs with caution and make sure to introduce them slowly and carefully. If your dog is rather independent and would like to keep away from others please let me know that information ahead of time! I'd love to know your pups typical appetite and eats on a regular schedule, but I make sure to monitor their food intake to prevent overeating. And of course, what treats they can indulge in if allowed. I like to know what their typical daily exercise routine is and what playtime tends to look like. Do they have any favorite toys or chews?
A typical day
Hey there, fur parent! Let me paint you a picture of the perfect day of dog sitting for your furry friend. First things first, I'll arrive at your home bright and early, armed with treats and toys to start the day off on the right paw. I'll greet your dog with making sure they feel comfortable and happy in my care. Next up, we'll head outside for a nice long walk around the barton skyway neighborhood. We'll explore the neighborhood and burn off some energy. After a good workout, we'll head back home for some well-deserved rest and relaxation. I'll make sure your dog has plenty of water and a cozy spot to curl up in while we take a break. If they're feeling playful, we can bust out some toys and play some fetch or tug-of-war. Of course, I'll also take care of all the essentials, from feeding your dog on schedule to making sure they have plenty of potty breaks throughout the day. And if your dog needs any special care, like medication or extra attention, I'm happy to provide that too. As the day winds down, we'll wind down too with some quiet time and relaxation. I'll make sure your dog feels safe and secure, whether that means snuggling up on the couch or getting tucked in for the night. Always open to suggestions to make the most of your pups time!
