Pet care experience
I grew up with a german shepherd. Been taking care of pups from 6mo to 17yo (RIP Dasher) and have/had became their fave aunt. Just started Rover to meet new pets (happy to go off-app after 1 booking) and ultimately buy a house for my future dogs 🥰

Mega is a perfect dog sitter. Stop scrolling, because you can’t do better. She watched our dog in our home for two weeks while we were overseas. She demonstrated extreme attention to detail and sincere care for our dog Luna (eg took notes during our meet and greet, asked thoughtful questions, and had an intuitive understanding of the kind of attention our dog wanted, etc). She was extremely consistent and detailed in providing updates while we were away, which was super reassuring. We came home to a very happy and calm dog and a spotless house. Mega is just the best and we can’t recommend her any more enthusiastically!

Mega was the best! She sent beautiful pictures of my cat and detailed, thoughtful updates. I could tell she loved him just as much as I do. I came home to a very happy cat and a clean house. Not only cuddling pets, I pay attention to their safety & wellbeing. I walk/take care of your pets exclusively and dont mix them with other clients’ pets. I clean up after pets & myself - happy to help with simple chores (e.g., water plants, take trash out). I respect clients’ house & safety rules. I don’t bring anyone else to stay in (past my 20s so no parties for me lol). Also YES, I would let your pet(s) sleep with me 🥰 I let dogs sniff around during walks because both mind and physical exercises increase happiness and longevity. If they’re in training, I can keep the learning process going. I tend to pamper senior dogs, just to keep them happy and comfy. For safety, I do NOT give pets foods other than their own (I'd just avoid eye contacts 🥹). I send daily updates and cute pics (esp. if the pets cooperate). My friends have used them for their holiday cards and social media.

I’d like to learn about their personalities, likes and dislikes, food & snacks, daily routines, walk length, trainings, health needs, hygiene details, socializing style, sleeping setup, furniture rules as well as other household & safety rules. I offer an in person meet and greet for free but there’s an additional charge if you need separate visits to get/return keys.
A typical day
For the first couple of days/visits I tend to apply “overcommunication” and spend extra time with pets when my schedule permits. After that, daily updates will be more efficient and curated, unless I have a lot of details worth sharing or questions.

Availability
I work in an NGO with flexi schedule (hybrid). I can maintain your pets’ routines to reduce separation anxiety, e.g., walk frequency (~4 walks/potty breaks), meals, snacks, healthcare, and pre-bedtime routines. The regular house sitting is for pets that can be left alone ask me for round-the-clock sitting availability (should be booked with puppy rate)
