Dog Loving Graduate Student

Pet care experience

About me: I am a dog lover working as a graduate student and living in Porter Square in Cambridge. I am a PhD student at Harvard. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and spend most of my time reading/studying in my home. I have lived with and taken care of dogs since I was very young. I have experience dog walking, dog sitting, and working with animals at animal rescues and animal shelters. I have some informal experience with dog training and have upon request trained dogs I've watched to do tricks and performed them once their owner is back from their trip! I absolutely adore working with animals. It brings me so much joy! I am very active and would love to take your dog walking or running. Or if you have a sleepy dog, I love to cuddle with him or her and work on my studies. About my house: I live in the top floor of a Victorian house. It's very sunny and cozy! Animals are allowed on furniture. We have a small fenced dog run in the back of the house. We are walking distance from several parks and one nature preserve that I regularly go walking at. I live with my partner who is also a dog lover and will interact with the dog when she is home from work. About my services: I can offer as frequent potty breaks as needed. I generally take dogs out every 2-3 hours but am happy to offer a custom schedule. I am happy to walk, bathe, groom, feed, or play with your dog. I want your dog to feel at home with me! I will work with you to meet all of your dog's needs and preferences. I have a lot of experience working with sick, elderly, anxious or special needs dog. My dog of thirteen years had complex medical issues so I have lots of experience administering medications, changing diapers, and soothing a sick or anxious dog. I have worked with all breeds and all sizes! Feel free to message me with any questions!

Meg listened to our concerns and was very communicative throughout Piper's stay. We felt that Piper was in good hands and would gladly leave our dog with her again.

Meg took great care of our pup. She and her partner showered him with love. She sent us many updates and photos, which kept me smiling. She made our pick-up and drop-off as smooth as possible. I would recommend her to anyone!

Meg was such a wonderful dog sitter for Hippo! He is blind and has a few special needs, and she was so loving and patient with him. She was a great communicator about how he was doing and sent lots of adorable photos. Hippo came home a happy pup!

Meg is a warm and compassionate caregiver for my dog, Sam. She understands dog behavior and always spends ample time walking Sam. He is consistently happy to be with Meg. She is dependable, prompt, and responsive.
