Seeking Fellow Dog Moms and Dads!
Pet care experience
Hi there - I just want to let all prospective dog moms and dads know that I do share a car with my husband, so my availability right now is limited to the days I can have the car. Please message me before setting up a time to book. Thank you! I'm in the process of getting a new car as well! To describe the relationship I have with my pug is to call her my canine life partner and my heart button. She is my companion in the truest sense of the word, and you probably feel the same way. I'll treat your little lady or gent with attention, care, and pack leader parenting. I'm a freelance writer, so my schedule is flexible for you. I worked at a pet store and also have two dogs of my own. I can provide plenty of references.
Reviews
Meg went above and beyond my expectations. She communicated her arrival, departure and mapped out the route. I received pictures and friendly texts describing her interaction with Ernie. The weather has been cold and messy but she's been entirely reliable. Yay!

Information Meg N. would like to know about your pet
Any breed is fine except pit bulls. I'm open to American Staffordshire Terriers, which are a different breed but look similar. Before taking care of a dog, I'd just want to know what treats they like and if there are any particular behavioral quirks. I understand what it's like to have a dog with anxiety, so I'm sensitive to that.
A typical day
I live less than a mile from Quarry Run Dog Park (which has a small dog section, too), I'm in a great walkable neighborhood with plenty of side streets, I'm around the corner from a Pet Life store, and if you live near the beach, I'll be more than happy to take dogs there. Back Cove is also ideal to walk and it's a short drive away. On a walk or dog park visit, I'll bring poop bags, bottled water, a bowl, and tennis balls.
