Pet care experience
My lifelong passion has been with animals. I work full time as a vet assist in surgery at Upstate Vet Specialties in Latham, as well as in school to become a technician. I love caring for other pets so much that I want to do more! I have experience in watching over dogs of all types during boarding and off-leash play in large groups, as well as keeping on eye on each dog's individual health and wellness. Additionally, I have experience in feeding, grooming, and administering medications. I have experience caring for dogs of all sorts of breeds, sizes, colors, and temperaments. Along with my work experience, I also have adopted fur babies of my own, whom I love and care for, and cuddle with every night! Growing up, I was also surrounded by dogs, with one 75lb dog with my family, and several sizes and breeds of my friends (including springer spaniels, chihuahuas, and great danes). I’ll be sure to care for your children like you never left!

Meg is just wonderful! During our meet and greet, it was very clear that she has a way with animals. She took care of our 5 cats and even happily accommodated their different food preferences. Everything she did (rinsing out food cans, for example) was done thoughtfully. I would recommend Meg without reservation!
Second time Meg has taken care of my 4 month old puppy. She is very caring towards the puppy. She is also very thoughtful in ensuring that the puppy’s area is clean and comfortable. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Thank you Meg.
Meg did a fantastic job house sitting our puppy, Trudy. She took her on a couple walks and sent great updates throughout the evening. Trudy loved playing with Meg and was tired and happy when we got home. I would definitely recommend Meg!

I'd just like to know what a typical day is like when you are home, if there are any medical issues I need to know about (i.e. allergies, reverse sneezing, hiccups, etc.), and typical feeding schedule.
A typical day
I will follow your instructions on where to go for walks and play time. If you typically run with your dog(s), I can absolutely do that. If you typically only let them in their yard, I will make sure they get their energy expended that way! Even though I do not stay over in my clients houses, I spend time with the fur kids just before I go to bed, and right after I wake up!
