I'm Meg and I adore animals! I am a Registered Nurse and yoga instructor by trade, so I guess you could say I'm a people-lover too. My life's work is to be a care provider and steward for living things. I had the privilege of being born and raised around pups and have a special connection with them. I'm looking to provide care, walks, snuggles, and love for your furry friends. As a Registered Nurse (BSN), I am accountable to providing compassionate care and am no stranger to being responsible to the lives entrusted to me. In addition to caring for people, I have experience looking after homes, puppies/dogs, cats, bunnies and other rodents, bees, reptiles and fish. All types of animals are special and a part of the family. I am happy to care for any of these animals on Rover! I bring cleanliness, accountability, and responsibility when pet and house sitting. In addition to household pets, I have experience working with farm animals (the most with goats and chickens) as well as experience working with wild animals at the San Diego Zoo (where I grew up). In my free time, I enjoy gardening and spending as much time as I can outside on the trail and in mountains, lakes, and oceans. I live a very active lifestyle and am always looking for furry friend companions to have with me on the leash or just chilling at home. It is important to me that you feel informed and secure when leaving your pet(s) or home with me. I have a car, making transportation easy and I am readily accessible by phone. I also enjoy getting creative with photo-ops and will be sure to send you picture text updates. I have never met a fur baby that I didn’t get along with and cannot wait to get to know you and your pet(s)!
