Your dog is the love of your life? Mine is too! My name is Meg, it's nice to meet you! I have always had dogs in my life; rescued and from reputable breeders. I love all dogs. Period. I was a junior handler and hobbyist groomer for Pied Piper Cavaliers in my younger years. My fourth Cavalier, Jacob, was a national AKC and CKCSC (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, USA) champion. I cared for Jacob until he was 14! I do have plenty of experience with senior citizen dogs. Now I live with Jacob's grandson, Ozzy (who is definitely not a show dog). We kayak, walk, snuggle, cook together, lounge in the sun (and couch!) and generally love daily life - always together. If his tail is wagging, then mine is too. Through my experience with working with Cavaliers, I understand health concerns with dogs - Ozzy has had 2 serious eye surgeries and many teeth pulled - and I am attentive and sensitive to those needs, always. I am comfortable with administering medicines and can adapt to a routine easily.
