Pet care experience
Please note I am currently not accepting dogs in my home due to the dog respiratory virus as a precautionary measure for my pets and yours. Please consider drop in visits instead during this time! I am a working professional in the IT industry who works in a highly flexible role that allows me to work from home. I grew up around animals my entire life as my grandfather was a veterinarian and I have been riding horses since I was 5. I am a firm supporter of rescues and was highly involved with local rescues in my home state of Georgia. I regularly keep my friends pets or help at their barns and decided with my new schedule it would be an incredible time to meet new people and spend time with adorable fur babies.

This was our first time leaving our three dogs at home so we could get out of town. I wasn't sure our first meeting with Meg and introduction to our four-legged kids was going to go really well as Wrigley our youngest can be a little aggressive to people he just meets, but Meg didn't flinch at all, turns out it went very well. Meg sent pictures from each visit and a few videos as well. The detail of each visit, along with the pictures helps very much when you're in another state visiting and trying not to worry about your dogs. This was a fantastic experience for our dogs, and we will definitely be reaching out to Meg in the future.
Meg is one of the best sitters on Rover! Always super communicative and she is so nice! We always feel comfortable leaving our pup in her care when we leave. She’s the best!!
Meg was wonderful! She was very communicative and I felt extremely comfortable while my dog was with her. My dog came home happy and tired from spending time with Meg and his new pup friend! I will absolutely use her again in the future. Thank you for taking care of our boy!!
This was the longest I have ever been away from my dog and I have to say that Meg went above and beyond to keep me up dated all the time on how Pumpkin was doing and would send me pictures all the time so I can see how she was doing. She was even nice enough to share her dogs food with mine when she saw that my dog did not like the new flavor food I left her with. I will definitely be using Meg again when I have to go out of town. I would highly recommend Meg anytime.

I do not have a fenced in yard (yet) but my yard unfortunately is not very large. My neighborhood however is wonderful for long walks and I’m a 4 minute drive from an amazing forest preserve. I’m happy to crate your dog or crate my own to separate her away from yours. I am open to any and all requests you may have and want you and your pet to be comfortable. For any pets that reside in my home I can provide an apple tag that will be attached to their collars so you can check in on their location at all times or will gladly FaceTime you as requested to check in on your pet. I do ask that all pets that stay with me are provided with their own food so as to avoid upset stomachs and they wear a collar with your identification and I have the contact of their local vet. My dog is up to date on all vaccines, is treated for fleas, ticks and heart worms and my expectation would be that all pets in my care are the same. I do prefer to keep toys a solo play activity based on my experience with animals and will always feed separate

A typical day
I love taking Bailey on long walks in the neighborhood or nearby forest preserve or when she’s not in the mood to walk around I take her on car rides to Starbucks to get a puppachino or to walk thru pet smart. I would love to do the same with your pet.

Availability
My new role which allows me to work from home every day of the week with the exception of some Tuesdays will allow me to cater to any pets custom needs. I’m incredibly flexible and accommodating, but my dogs schedule is to go for a walk at 7 Am, then breakfast after the walk, she alerts when she needs to go out the remainder of the day and then has dinner by 6 PM and another walk shortly after. Her last time going out is usually by 10 PM. I always try and schedule in play time of some sort once a day even if it’s as simple as tug a war while I’m on a conference call. Again, this is what works for me but I’m open to accommodating someone else’s pets need.
