Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Meaghan! My family has had dogs since I was 10, and at 30 I'm more obsessed with dogs than ever! I love taking dogs on long walks, hiking, and snuggling on the couch. I have experience walking and caring for neighbors' dogs of all sizes, as well as my family dog. I work from home full time, so I am also available for lunchtime walks for your dog during the day. I am willing to take your dog swimming, running, hiking, for car rides, to the dog park, to doggy play dates with their friends, and whatever other activities you can think of. I am also available for overnight/weekend care in my home. I look forward to meeting you and your pup soon! My dog (1 year old golden retriever) is energetic and always excited to play with new friends.

Milo stayed with Meaghan and Ollie for 10 days while we were on a family trip to Europe. This was our first time leaving him for such an extended period of time. Meaghan took THE BEST care of Milo the entire time, better than I could have ever imagined. She took him on long walks every day including walks to exciting places like Borderland park, the dog park and other fun outings. She sent us multiple pictures every day so we knew that Milo had the best time playing with Ollie. She was extremely accommodating and attentive to his needs, feeding schedule, his habits including allowing him to sleep in her room. In addition, she gave him a bath at the end after a visit to the dog park! Even though Milo missed us, he came home a very happy dog. It was obvious he was loved and take care of! I will absolutely ask Meaghan to watch him again (already did). I am so grateful to Meaghan and her husband for being such awesome doggy parents in our absence!
Wonderful experience at Meaghan's! She is a really caring dog sitter. Milo had a great time today and before at her doggy daycare. He is happy he got to go on a long way and play with Ollie!

I have an energetic and playful golden retriever who loves to wrestle and run around with other dogs. I can separate dogs during meal time either in different rooms or in an x pen, and your dog can sleep in his/her own room in our home, since our dog sleeps in a crate. I will only let your dog off leash in my fenced in backyard if that is okay with you!

I am most used to medium/large sized dogs, but truly love all dogs. I grew up with Golden Retrievers, so I have a special place in my heart for goldens and labs, but I love active dogs that love to play and go on walks. I would like to know your dog's activity level, if they are food aggressive, if they get along with other dogs, and how they walk on a leash.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks and hikes, and am an excellent frisbee/tennis ball thrower! I'm also happy to take your dog to Borderland State park or Stonehill College when they are here for an overnight visit.
