I have had various pets since I was a child. I really took off in pet care during high school, where I worked for two separate dog show breeders learning the ropes of dog care, puppy care, and puppy raising. During early adult-hood I developed an interest in rescue of small animals like guinea pigs, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, etc. I learned the ins and outs of caring for these little friends, and helped so many of them find adequate and loving forever homes. While I no longer have the capability of doing this out of my home, I have still retained all of the knowledge! I brought home my very first adulthood puppy a bit over a year ago, and since then I have jumped right back into the world of dogs again. I have a keen interest in dog behavior and body language, and I put that interest into practice by having worked at a couple different dog daycares, and observing the interactions between dogs. I am confidently able to monitor and encourage fair play as well as intervene before I see an interaction get too "spicy". Currently I do some dog sitting for family and friends, and I would love to become friends with your dogs as well. ♥ I am available for pet drop ins, walks, or hikes anytime during the week from 8am-4pm. I can do overnights in your home with your pet any weekday between 5pm to 6am. I am not available on the weekends or major holidays at this time. I will follow your schedule with your pets in your home as closely as possible. A meet and greet before services begin would be great so that I can get to know you and your pet and get a feel for what their lifestyle is with you so that I may replicate it and keep things comfortable for them while you are away. We can play with toys, go on walks or hikes in the area, play in the yard, frequent potty breaks, relax together around the house, etc. Anything you would like me to do with your pet will make their day a little more enriching and exciting!
