Pet care experience
Like most people, animals are my passion; with that being said, I have collectively over 15 years of professional animal experience as well as never living a day of my life without caring for a personal animal. I have no rules for pets, and will follow all of yours including furniture and bed rules. I do not feed treats but am happy to give any provided on your schedule. I currently have two senior, very friendly cats and one neutered male great dane; all who are adopted and love any chance they get to make me friends. Oral and topical medications can be administered as well as insulin. I have managed an elite dog boarding facility/daycare and a humane society/local city shelter where I oversaw the care of 80+ animals at any given time, including sick and injured. Experienced with short-snout heat sensitive breeds such as pugs, bulldogs, etc. and potty pad trained pets can be accommodated. *WEATHER NOTE* Given the recent excessive heat warnings locally, pet walking is preferred during cooler hours and if the heat of the day cannot be avoided will be kept only long enough for pottying or booties and frequent water breaks will be used for the safety of your pup.

Meaghan was an absolute joy to work with and took extremely good care of our two dogs. She was very professional in her interactions and promptly responded to our queries. We would highly recommend her to anyone interested in a sitter that treats your pets as her own.
Meaghan was so patient and wonderful with my greyhound Fran! I could tell that Fran felt very relaxed there and she's somewhat anxious with new places.

I live in an incredibly pet friendly community (which is the sole reason I signed a lease here!) and while we do have two great dog parks, for the safety of your pup they will only be brought into the private yard with other dogs should you make that request. All of the dogs here are super friendly, but you never know when there's a pair that may not get along so I will always be sure your pet is walked alone for his or her safety.

Things I would like to know in advance are: human/dog aggression (including food aggression), medical conditions, and a little bit about the dog and what they enjoy. Please note any destruction habits so proper planning can take place.
A typical day
Not all dogs enjoy several long walks a day, and not all dogs enjoy cuddling on the couch watching television. I will do whatever it takes to stick to the routine that they're used to at home to ensure an easy transition while you're away. I adopted my current dog after my others had passed of age, to force me to get outside again. Come to find out, I adopted the laziest dog I could have - but we still make the best of it! I've got a dog + human dog bed that I spend lots of time on with my pup, including while working just to give that extra bit of attention. We frequent Mutts, and otherwise go on a nice long walk around Cole Park, Katy trail or turtle creek.
