Hi guys! I'm Alyse and have been working with animals for over 16 years. I have worked in a variety of fields in the animal world, I have worked (and still do) as a dog trainer for the entirety of my career, I also run my own small pet supply business (currently out of my home) and have worked in veterinary offices. I am passionate about helping to end the pet obesity epidemic that the world, especially the US, is currently facing. I am extensively trained in canine conditioning, fitness, structure, and nutrition. I currently live in a RV turned tiny home with my five dogs, I own 3 senior miniature dachshunds, a Rottweiler, and my pride and joy Border Collie. I enjoy spending all of my time hiking dogs and providing appropriate physical and mental stimulation through decompression walking. I love to chat about what hiking can provide for your dogs! All dogs travel in my crash tested crate to ensure their absolute safety.

I do not have any breed preferences but ask that all owners be up front about any temperament problems prior, I have extensive experience working with both aggressive and reactive dogs and am always thrilled to help with these dogs, but need to be aware ahead of time. If your dog tends to eat things on walks, or is not dog friendly/social please also make me aware of these things, I want to make sure that I keep your pets safe and happy and the best way to do that is to allow me any pertinent information!
A typical day
All dogs enjoying a hike with me will get to experience what trainers refer to as a "decompression walk" - this means that I am not only using the walk to meet your dogs physical needs, but that I am also using it to allow for proper mental stimulation. This includes lots of sniffing and recall games (all on a long line) - dog friendly dogs will also get to enjoy time playing with Virtue during their hike. I can also help follow through on any current training.
