I am from Dallas, Texas, where I grew up alongside my beautiful Siberian Huskie named Sheba as well as 2-4 cats at any given time. After graduation, I made the 40 mile trek west to Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!), but was without my fur babies during the 5 years at school. Unfortunately, Sheba passed while I was away at TCU, but I promised myself that I would have a fur family as soon as I got a full-time job and lived on my own. In 2008 and 2009, I received both my Bachelor's in Secondary Education and Master's in Curriculum and Instruction at TCU. I immediately received a job teaching 8th grade American History, and just finished my 7th year teaching. Although I am saving up for a house, my apartment is too small to properly care for another dog in a wau that it would deserve. However, I am the proud fur Mommy to Sophie, a Siamese-Persian mix. I have 2 fur nieces, Pumpkin (cat) and Phoebe (cat), and 6 fur nephews, Binx (cat), Taz (cat), Red (dog), Stoney (dog), and Bubba (dog). When I am not at work, I enjoy anything active. I love to be outdoors and take any opportunity to be silly and goofy. I also enjoy spending as much time as I can with friends, watching sports, and taking road trips. I look forward to the opportunity to love on your babies as if they were my own.
