Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up my family was always taking in orphaned dogs so I have experience with a variety of breeds, and as an adult I’ve always had at least one dog. I particularly have experience with very small dogs. Our entire family has a love for animals. I do not work outside of the home and my husband works from a home office so someone is almost always home. The longest your dog would be left alone would be for me to go grocery shopping or taking the kids to their activities, but even then my husband is usually home. I have a very secure fenced in yard so there's plenty of space to play and run around, I also live in a neighborhood that isn't too busy and good for going on walks. I will only watch 1-2 dogs at a time so your pup will get lots of attention! The dogs I watch must be good around kids and other dogs. Please don't have me watch your dog if you have concerns about this. I will only watch small dogs about 15 pounds or less since I have a 5 lb yorkie and children at home. Dogs must be up to date on all shots and I ask you provide documentation to show that. My children are very used to small dogs and know to be extra careful around them because of their size. I do not allow my children to pick up the dogs but they do love to play with them. I ask that you bring your dog freshly bathed and brushed and you are welcome to bring their beds or any items that will make them feel more comfortable. Have these items freshly washed please. Please provide enough food, treats, bones, etc. for the duration of their stay with written instructions describing their routine and how much food to give them. I don't allow dogs to sleep in my bed, but I am flexible with sleeping arrangements so your dog will be comfortable and do what they typically do at home the best I can.
