I got my first dog at the age of 6. A year after that we got a second and from there on out we always had at least two dogs in the house growing up. During this time I also had an iguana and a variety of fish to care for. Once I left for college I only had my friends' cats to care for, but I loved them all the same! Post graduation I moved to Texas where I had the to opportuinity to help a gecko, when he was healthy and when he was recovering from burns, and a cat with early stages lymphoma and late stages kidney disease. I was required to give oral medications to both the gecko and the cat. For the gecko I also applied topical ointment and administer a shot to help ease any excess pain. It was while I was tending to these two pets that I realized the only thing I want in this world is to improve the lives of pets in whatever way I can. Since moving back to Washington, I have been a manager at a doggie daycare meant for dogs 30lbs and under or 12 years and older before switching over to Rover full time to pursue personalized pet care. Since then I have worked with a variety of older, sick, exotic and aggressive pets! Anywhere from cats who need inhalers to insulin! (I also work with the crazy orange guys, iykyk) I have experience with aggressive dogs and always welcome more experience. I am willing to work with you at your pets pace. If that requires multiple meet and greets then let me know! If you have any kind uncommon pets, ranging from chickens to reptiles, I have experience! I've owned/worked with iguanas, geckos, bearded dragons and snakes! I love any and all animals, so don't fret and ask me about care for your special lil guy!
