For years I have worked with animals large and small of various species! After training multiple horses in California while continuing to work pet sitting for friends and faculty, I became experienced with fish, cats, dogs both large and small, and currently care for my own rescued rabbit. I have lived in NYC for the majority of my life and have walked dogs everywhere from parks, city streets, trails and more. Since moving to the area I have enjoyed exploring the area theough dogsitting for coworkers and friends. Presently, I work as a Veterinary Assistant all across New England. My priority is always safety first, both for the animals and humans involved. Whether it be securing a muzzle for some dogs as requested, making sure harnesses are properly secured and in good working order, or maintaining a safe distance from other animals, vehicles, and people I have likely experienced it all. I am actively pursuing a career in veterinary medicine/wildlife conservation, and as such have extensive knowledge on baseline health as well as stress or illness indicators along with the proper protocol to stabilize, secure and get assistance. I aim for a connection with every animal I interact with, in hopes that every walk, every pet play-date or grooming session winds up building on the last for positive association and improving future experiences!
