Pet care experience
My name is Meagan! I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd that my husband and I have raised and trained since he was 7 weeks old. From day care, long or short walks, boarding and of course taking care of my own pet - I’ve got experience with it all! I would love to be the “home away from home” for your beloved pet.

Meagan took great care of our Goldens while we were away for four days! She went above and beyond to give our girls lots of love and attention as well as provide for all their needs. She gave great updates with pictures with every visit so we gots to see our babies having a great time! I think they were a little disappointed to see us come home LOL! We highly recommend her and will definitely use her for our next trip!

I live in a large 2 story house on 1.5 (unfenced) acres at the end of a private road so your fur baby will have plenty of room to run. For those who don’t do well off leash, we have a lead in the ground that we can clip him/her to so that they can safely play. I also have an entire finished basement that is perfect for play time in the event that the weather is bad. Oakley (my dog) loves to make new friends! He is a total sweetheart and does great with all sizes and breeds of other pets. He is neutered, and we will only accept other neutered/spayed animals. Although my dog has never been aggressive, all feedings will be done in separate areas to prevent any jealousy. If I have to leave the house I will separate all pets from each other (unless they come from the same household). I don’t have a crate, but if your pet does best in one and you would like to bring your own then I would be more than happy to set it up! For drop ins, I will spend 30 minutes loving on your pet. This will include potty break, play time in your yard or on a leash, feeding and fresh water if needed. If a dog walk is booked, it will be a 30 minute service as well - complete with fresh water offered throughout the walk and before leaving.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors! Pets will be expected to be house trained (aside from puppies). Please let me know if they have any behavioral problems. Since I have a young daughter they will also need to be friendly with children. She doesn’t pay attention to our dog, and I won’t let her “play” with or interact with your pet, but they still must be friendly! Let me know your pets feeding and bathroom frequency, bedtime routine, and if they get on furniture or sleep in the bed with you.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs mentally and physically! We will play outside, go on walks, do dog puzzles, work on training commands and more! I love to go to the Warrenton greenway for long walks, or walk in my own neighborhood for shorter excursions.

Availability
I am currently a stay at home mom to my 1 year old daughter, so my full time job will be caring for your pet! My main “job” on here is overnight boarding but I also offer drop ins, daycare (7am-7pm), and dog walks.
