Caring for your pets is not just my "side gig," it is my full time passion and helps contribute to my family's livelihood. About Us: We are a small family consisting of three humans - myself, my husband Joe, our 11 year old son A.J., and two pets - our 9 year old puggle, Kepa, and our 13 year old male cat, Ceelo. We enjoy camping, riding our ATV & quads, and volunteering for our son's Little League team. Our Pets: Kepa is a pug/beagle mix and was one of the founding members of a meet-up/play group in Portland, OR and is very socialized as a result. Kepa absolutely loves everyone, 2-legged and 4-legged, alike. Our cat is very shy and will spend the majority of his time upstairs; it is not a requirement that your dog(s) be cat friendly. My Services: - Boarding | While you enjoy your vacation, let your pet enjoy their staycation! Bring your pet to us for overnight care, in our home, while you are away. They will love meeting new friends, snuggling on the couch by the warm fireplace and receiving their favorite bedtime treat! - Doggy Daycare | Great for socialization, long work days, family day trips, house or carpet cleaning appointments, and realtor or open house appointments. Your pet will love playing with friends, sunbathing by the pool and snoozing on the couch! ** Overnight Boarding Rate is calculated per a 24-hour period. Pricing starts when you drop your dog off and pick up would be the same time on the last day of the stay. Example: If you arrive at 8am, check-out is at 8am on your check-out date. If drop-off and pick-up times vary by more than 1 hour a prorated daycare fee would be applied. Beyond 24-hour cycle additional fees per pet: 1 - 5 hours: $10 extra 6 - 10 hours: $25 extra 10+ hours: overnight charge ** Please see the rates section on my profile for individual rates including holiday rates, puppy rates (under 1 year old), and additional dog rates. ** Rover's software auto calculates all stay requests upon your first message to me. This may result in the initial price quote being overcharged/undercharged. Rest assured my pricing is simple and I am completely transparent in the cost of your pet(s) care - once the details of your pet(s) visit have been discussed you will see an "invoice" with the total amount due before confirming/paying. Holiday Care: ** Holiday rates will be charged on the following dates: Martin Luther King Jr. (Thu.- Mon.) President’s Day (Thu.-Mon.) Memorial Day (Thu.-Mon.) 4th of July (3rd &–4th) Labor Day (Thu.-Mon.) Columbus Day (Thu.-Mon.) Veterans Day (Thu.-Mon.) Thanksgiving (Tue.-Sun.) Christmas and New Years (December 19–January 1) Meet & Greet: 1. Meet & Greets take place in our home. 2. Meet & Greets are by appointment only. 3. Please bring your dog(s) and current vaccination records. Pet Arrival & Departure: ** All pet arrivals and departures are by appointment only. Please schedule an appointment with me in advance to drop-off or pick-up your dog. ** Hours: drop-off & pick-up hours are 9am-7pm. ✅ What to Bring: 1. Food: Bring your pet's food in either A) ziploc bagged, single-meal servings labeled with your pet's name or B) 1 large ziploc bag labeled with your pet's name, feeding amount, and feeding schedule written on it. Please also include the measuring/serving scoop. 2. Collar with up-to-date tags. 3. Leash. 4. Treats: (if special dietary restrictions) bring treats labeled with pet's name. 5. Dog's crate/bed/pillow/blanket 6. Medication (if applicable) kept in the prescription bottle and packaged into a ziploc bag with your dog's name and dosage schedule written on it. Our Policies: 1. Due to high demand, we do function on a FIRST BOOKED, FIRST SERVED basis. Sending us a request is not sufficient. Clients MUST finalizing all bookings in order to guarantee a service spot for their pet(s) for the dates requested. 2. NEW CLIENTS have 48 hours after a meet and greet to finalize bookings. After 48 hours, we are unable to guarantee availability for the dates and services requested. 3. ALL clients are REQUIRED to provide proof of up to date vaccinations, specifically: Rabies, Bordetella and DPP (See below). Flea and tick preventative is also required. Vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours prior to arrival under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian. However, we prefer vaccinations be administered 10 days before check-in. Written proof is required. (Copies accepted) Vaccinations: 1. DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza) - 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required 2. Bordetella - Required every 6 months & at least 7 days prior to check-in to ensure maximum efficiency & protection against Kennel Cough. Please note: many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request. 3. Rabies - 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required. 4. Fleas & Ticks: In addition to vaccinations, all dogs should be flea and tick free. Pets with signs of fleas and/or ticks will be treated by us at the pet parent’s expense. ♥️ Please note: We host dogs in the small-medium breed categories (0-50 pounds). We often have multiple dogs staying with us. Once a spot has been secured I always take into consideration the personalities/sizes of the dogs before accepting any other visitors. Having non-compatible dogs is not safe (or fun) and I wouldn't do that to them or myself. We strive to provide a safe and anxiety-free home for every stay.
