I have a very senior, special needs pug, and Meagan was amazing with him! She was prompt, communicative, caring, patient and is clearly a small dog AND a big dog person! :). In addition, she cared for my home as if it were her own. Wouldn't have known she was here. Tidy, neat, respectful. I don't trust my dog to just anyone. I'd ask Meagan again in a heartbeat.
Meagan is awesome with my Australian Shepherd puppy. She takes her on walks and will play fetch. My dog gets so excited to see her!
Meagan is amazing with all animals but especially my dog. I feel as if she loves my dog as much as I do. My dog is very hyper and when Meagan comes over she is able to calm her down so she is not jumping and then continues to play with her to tire her out. We love when Meagan speands time with our dog.
I'll hike with your pup!
Friends wrote in my yearbook through high school talking about how much they loved coming over to play with our little golden nuggets. I was fortunate enough to grow up surrounded by golden retriever puppies throughout my life. As an undergrad I'd drive 5 hours across Washington to sleep with my dog, Sally, and her puppies underneath the heat lamp. In grad school, I trained her to make the smoothest full-time outdoor to full-time indoor ...
What Meagan would like to know about your dog
I would like to arrange a meet and greet to ascertain comfort with the dog(s) and owners. I would also like to know a typical day in the life of the dog and how the parents respond to their behavior to maintain consistency. I honestly have no breed preferences. Larger dogs may have a slight advantage over smaller dogs. I love weener dogs or corgis!
I work nights and my part-time work schedule is not consistent right now. Therefore, I update the Rover availability calendar when I receive my schedule for the month.
For daycare and boarding families only - I specified caring for small to medium/large-ish dogs with limitations to capacity due to the size of my residence. I can host more than one smaller dog but may not be able to with larger breeds. Your dog must be comfortable with cats and other dogs and well trained/behaved (puppies are certainly an exception).
