In the past we have boarded our dogs when we travel and it is always stressful for our dogs--and for us. McKinley took great care of our dogs and was very responsive and accommodating to their individual quirks. A great experience!
McKinley treated my dog, Charlie, like her own. Welcoming him into his family over the Thanksgiving holiday! It was so reassuring to know he was happy and having fun! He is a high energy dog and she made sure to tucker him out. Thanks McKinley!
McKinley dropped in twice while I was away for a day, great communicator and looks like my dog liked her!
McKinley is an excellent pet sitter and has been watching my two dogs as needed for years. She is responsible, prompt, and knowledgeable about dogs and is a good handler. I feel comfortable with her in our home and trust her with my pups. Both of my dogs have different needs, medicines (occasionally), and exercise needs and she is able to handle all of it no problem. When one of my dogs was a puppy, McKinley would go out of her way to clean up messes, manage puppy behavior, and really just made the puppyhood era a bit easier for us. Highly recommend her!

With my own pets I prioritize their safety above all. I will always be their advocator and make sure they’re comfortable (body language and potential triggers in mind). I am vigilant on walks and in areas with other pets. I understand the importance of proper introductions with pets both with humans and other furry pals. I have a firm stance against unsolicited or unwanted interactions - meaning if your dog needs a bit more space than others I will go out of my to ensure that and am not afraid to speak up for space or asking individuals to recall their animals. I love animals and love building a good relationship with them. I am down for any adventure that includes walks, local river/bike paths, and fetch sessions.

The more information the better I can attend to your pet! Walking equipment, triggers, reactivity, limits, etc. In home situations good to know all house rules, couch usages, feeding routines, etc.
A typical day
I enjoy walks in any environment & any length. Our walks and adventures will be based on your guidance and comfort. Beyond walks and physical enrichment - I enjoy providing animals with other types of mental enrichment including sniff work, task training, mind games, etc. I also love utilizing feeding times as opportunity for mental enrichment as well. If enrichment is something you’re curious about I can offer suggestions but will always default to your guidance!

I work from home which allows great flexibility Monday through Friday. I am also available with flexibility on the weekends. I keep my availability up to date for easy booking!
