Hello! To whom it may concern, I would recommend McKenzie as a pet caregiver because I personally have left my pets in her care on multiple occasions. She’s familiar with multiple breeds, small, medium, and large, including but not limited to dachshunds, chows, labs, golden retrievers, Bernese mountain dogs, Great Danes, beagles, and many more. McKenzie understands your pets body language, understands pets that may be reactive, overwhelmed, or stressed and handles it accordingly. She can interpret whether a dog is being aggressive, or simple correcting another dog, she follows directions and instructions a quite well whether it be special diets, medications, feeding times, letting them in and out, etc. and even sends picture updates of how your pets are doing. She’s also familiar with cats. Your pet is her main concern when being a caregiver for them. She can keep the dog under control, while also allowing the dog to enjoy its walks as their walks are their “social media”, and good for their enrichment. I personally have an extremely reactive dog who now cries with excitement when McKenzie comes to dog sit. She builds relationships and trust with your pets.
