Hi there, my name is McKenzie and I am a 19 year-old college student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Before moving up to TN for school this past summer, I spent the last 7 years in Frisco, Texas. During this time, I worked a part-time job during the school year and a full-time job during the summers as a kennel technician, caretaker, and secretary in two separate dog boarding facilities, Woof City Pet Spa and Villa and The Boarding Bungalow of Frisco. After moving to Nashville I worked at the The Barking Spot where I continued to care for dogs of all shapes and sizes before switching to a job at My Puppy Parlor in Nashville where I work as a bather during my breaks between semesters. I also have lots of experience with house/pet sitting for neighbors and family friends. I have gained multitudes of experience over the last few years with things such as medication, dietary needs, temperament, body language, how to reduce stress, etc. I also grew up taking care of various types of our family’s animals my entire life, including horses, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, and fish.
