Hi! My name is Mac. I'm the child of two small animal veterinarians (so emergency medical care is only a call away) and have grown up in houses absolutely chock full of animals. Currently the proud parent of a senior rescue golden retriever named Moose! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, from Boston terriers to pit bulls and Newfoundlands, as well as all ages, from puppies to sweet seniors! I am a responsible recent graduate of the University of Washington. I have years of experience caring for personal pets, walking dogs, and handling my own dog, a border collie mix, in 4-H growing up. I have my own car and am in good physical shape for walking and intense fetch sessions! I also have experience caring for cats and birds. I'm so excited to meet your fur (or feathered) babies! Mac invested a ton of time and energy in getting to know our dog before dog sitting / house sitting -- AND communicated consistently throughout our vacation! Couldn't have asked for anything more.
I highly recommend McKenzie to care for your pets! My 2 dogs can get anxious about people coming into my house but they were at ease with McKenzie the moment they came for a meet & greet. I received detailed reports and pictures while I was away and came home to happy dogs!

Situational awareness is the name of the game for me, so I will always keep an eye on your puppy to make sure they aren't getting into anything they shouldn't. We will spend our time together playing tug or fetch, or just chilling out on the couch if that's more their speed!

A typical day
If a dog is able to come in my car, I can take them to our beautiful state parks in the area for a fun seaside walk. If not, that's completely fine! We'll walk around the neighborhood and play fetch, tug, or whatever your dog likes best.
